Environment Canada lifts Wind Warning for Howe Sound

Synopsis:

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring. A deep low pressure system will bring southeast winds of 70 km/h to the inner south coast beginning Saturday morning. The wind will veer to the southwest Saturday evening and gradually ease overnight.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
