Each year on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, communities across Canada pause to honour those who have served and sacrificed. SLRD residents are invited to observe a two-minute moment of silence on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m.
Prefer to participate from home? The National Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa will be broadcast and livestreamed on The Royal Canadian Legion’s Facebook page.

The following is a list of gatherings in our region:

| Bridge River Valley (Electoral Area A) | A service will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the Bridge River Valley Cemetery in Gold Bridge. For more details visit Bridge River Valley Community Association Facebook Page. |
| District of Lillooet | A service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Lillooet Cenotaph. The Lillooet Museum is hosting Remembrance Day exhibit sharing stories, photos, and artifacts on display at 11:15 a.m. |
| Village of Pemberton | A parade will begin at the Pemberton Fire Hall at 10:45 a.m., arriving at the Pemberton Legion for a service starting at 10:55 a.m. |
| Resort Municipality of Whistler | A ceremony will be held at the Whistler Olympic Plaza Cenotaph starting at 10:40 a.m. For more details, visit whistler.ca |
| District of Squamish | The Squamish Legion will host a ceremony at the Cenotaph in Stan Clarke Park starting at 10:45 a.m. |
