Heavy rain is expected. Rain will begin this evening becoming heavy at times on Thursday as an intense frontal system tracks across the B.C. coast. 50 to 70 mm of rainfall is expected by Thursday evening.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Landslides may occur in vulnerable areas such as steep slopes. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to email@example.com or tweet reports to #BCStorm.
