Please be advised that filming of a television pilot, "The Crossing" will take place in Britannia Beach on Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23. Film crews will be on-site beginning Wednesday, March 15 to prepare for the production.
Filming will take place in the vicinity of the post office and the old school building with most of the equipment, catering and mobile dressing room trucks parked in the east half of the Britannia Mines parking lot.
No road or traffic disruptions are planned, and impact to the neighbouring properties will be minimal. However, the production will require some on-street parking of equipment trucks. The production company has provided the information below to help residents prepare for their arrival and anticipate how their activities may affect your daily routine.

|1:30 a.m.||Equipment trucks arrive and hold overnight on Main Street beside Britannia Creek and behind bungalows on Main Street|
|5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.||Catering trucks and mobile dressing rooms arrive and park in the east half of the Britannia Mines parking lot. Film crew starts arriving and will park in the gravel lot behind the General Store and the School House.|
|9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.||Filming will take place around a large tent in the field south of Main Street and Britannia Creek.|
|Thursday, March 23, 2017|
|7:00 a.m. - 10: a.m.||There will be activity at the catering truck and mobile dressing rooms. Crew will be parked outside of the neighbourhood from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.|
|10:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. (March 24)||Filming will take place at the Britannia Post Office, and then at the School House. A driving scene will take place along Main Street.|
|1:00 a.m. - 3:00 a.m.||Crew will load the equipment trucks and quietly leave the area.|
|Friday, March 24, 2017|
|7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.||A small aerial unit will film from a drone over Britannia Creek. Crew will be back in the area to ensure the filming areas are restored to their original condition.|
