Overview
The SLRD is in receipt of a zoning amendment (rezoning) application for a 2.5ha portion of DL2247 on the west side of the Highway from WedgeWoods Estates.
This application is to enable the future subdivision and development of four new lots. Three of these lots would be residential, and would house a total of 12 dwelling units in the form of 6 duplex buildings. The fourth lot would house a common septic field and a backup common septic field.
Additional community benefits are proposed, including financial and development contributions to support trail access in the region as well as donation of the remainder lands to the SLRD.
