The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) recognizes that the ongoing Canada Post strike has implications for invoices, payments and other items typically processed through the mail system.

To avoid delay in submitting payments, the SLRD encourages residents to pay SLRD invoices in-person, or by e-transfer. To submit payment by e-transfer, set up the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District as a recipient, using this email address: ar@slrd.bc.ca and include the invoice number and any other pertinent information in the message section.

Vendors and suppliers are also encouraged to submit invoices electronically, or in-person.
To apply for a building permit, and provide supporting documents, please use Cloudpermit, the SLRD’s online system.

For all other forms and documents, please seek delivery option alternatives during the Canada Post strike, including:

  • In-person at the SLRD Administration Office, located at 1350 Aster Street in Pemberton, BC
  • By email to the appropriate department
  • By courier

For suppliers receiving cheque payment from the SLRD, we do not currently offer payment by electronic funds transfer (eft), but we are currently reviewing options for implementing eft payments with our suppliers and will notify suppliers when this service is available. We apologize for this inconvenience and any delays that may result due to the current Canada Post strike.
