Based on consultation with the British Columbia Wildfire Service, the SLRD has assessed that the potential danger to life and health due to the Twin Two Creek wildfire has subsided to the degree that the Evacuation Alert, pursuant to Section 95 (1) of the BC Emergency and Disaster Management Act issued by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District on August 12, 2026 at 15:30 hrs in Electoral Area C, is no longer required.

Before travelling to a recreation site, check Recreation Sites and Trails BC for the latest information on closures and whether sites have reopened for public use. An Evacuation Alert may need to be reissued for the properties in the Rescind area; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Alert process will re-commence.
