Site Safety

The mitigation project happening in your community is an active construction site. For your safety, and the safety of friends and family, please be aware of the following hazards:

  • Heavy machinery operating throughout the day (excavators, loaders, and other equipment in motion)
  • Frequent rock truck traffic entering and exiting the site
  • Increased industrial vehicle movement on LLE private roads and the Forest Service Road (FSR)
  • Changing conditions, limited visibility and variable terrain in work zones
  • Noise and dust related to ongoing construction activity

We ask all residents to:

  • Remain alert.
  • Follow posted signage and area closures.
  • Stay clear of moving equipment.
  • Keep out of construction areas at all times, including excavation areas.
  • Keep clear of stationary equipment, pumps, hoses and parked vehicles.

Your help educating visitors and children about these construction hazards and important safety messages is greatly appreciated.

Additional information will be provided through community representatives. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
