Based on consultation with subject matter experts, the SLRD has assessed that the potential danger to life and health due to the Place Glacier Outburst Flood Hazard and Debris Flood Hazard has subsided to the degree that the Evacuation Order issued on June 25, 2026 is no longer required.
Effective July 21, 2026 at 1530 hrs, the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has rescinded the Evacuation Order applying to the following areas:
