The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District's Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) will host a virtual EOC Community Meeting on Wednesday, August 5, to provide the latest information on wildfires affecting Electoral Area C.
The main purpose of this meeting will be to provide information to residents and property owners under Evacuation Order or Evacuation Alert in Electoral Area C. The EOC Community Update Meeting will include updates from BC Wildfire Service and the SLRD’s EOC Director about the region’s emergency response activities and advance planning. The public will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
A meeting for Area B residents is also being organized for this week and we will update this page as soon as the date and time for that event are confirmed. All interested residents are welcome to attend, and no registration is required. The online meeting will be recorded and uploaded to the SLRD YouTube page upon its conclusion.
