The Evacuation Order, pursuant to Section 95 (1) of the BC Emergency and Disaster Management Act issued by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District on July 23 and July 30, 2026 in Electoral Area C has been downgraded to an Evacuation Alert for the following properties:

An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued for the properties in the Alert area; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Order process will re-commence.
The existing Evacuation Alert area spanning Strawberry Point Recreation Site, Twin One Creek Recreation Site, Driftwood Bay Recreation Site, the Lizzie Bay Recreation Site, and extending north along the In-Shuck Ch FSR remain on Evacuation Alert, as per the attached map. These recreation sites remain closed.
Return home but stay prepared
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
- Visit DriveBC.ca and confirm that your intended route home is not obstructed by road closures.
- Safely return home and coordinate the safe return of your animals or livestock, if necessary.
- If you have received emergency accommodations through Emergency Support Services, these provisions will cease to be offered when the Evacuation Order is rescinded.
- Contact ESS Services to confirm when your current emergency accommodations expire at 1-888-800-6493.
